Initial energy is a special ability that is formated "Initial Energy: <amount of energy>". This means "When this comes into play, add <amount of energy> to your energy pool".
Initial energy is also used on cards that enter the play before the game begins, in which case the the player begins the energy and the ability is never on any stack.
