An installation is a permanent that is associated with an area. It comes into play on a specific area and cannot be moved to another area. If an area is destroyed all installations on it are discarded along with the area. Installations must share a faction with their controllers leader.

Installations can be taken over by other players. A character must be used to do it. See the character page for the implied ability that allows it.
