The leader is both the player and the card that represents them in the game. In the card sense a leader is a type of character that has the following implied abilities:
- This is not effected by anything that does not explicitly effect Leaders.
- If this is destroyed its controller losses the game.
Leaders can be destroyed in any way a character could be. For instance, by dealing damage, or by not pay their cost during the restore phase.
Leader cards are illegal in decks and may only be put into play at the beginning of the game.
