Restore Phase
From The Dim Future Wiki
The restore phase is the first phase in the turn. It is also the only phase that is not shared among all players. Each player gets their own restore phase starting with the aggressive player and progressing in turn-order. During a player's own restore phase they always have initiative. The following happens during the restore phase:
- All abilities controlled by the player with initiative that trigger "at the beginning of your restore phase" go on the stack in an order chosen by the player with initiative. This will usually include any restore energy abilities listed on permanents they control. Because drained permanents and areas cannot use abilities including triggered abilities, the area will not produce its restore energy.
- The player with initiative becomes active and the stack is played out.
- The player with initiative may choose to pay the restore costs of each character and other permanent with a cost. See restore cost for information about what happen if a permanents cost is not paid. Any abilities that go on the stack at this point must wait for the end of phase stack.
- All permanents controlled by the player with initiative whose restore costs were paid are undrained.
- All areas controlled by the player with initiative are undrained. Remove one damage counter from each, if any are present.
- All abilities controlled by the player with initiative that trigger "at the end of your restore phase" go on the stack in an order chosen by the player with initiative.
- The player with initiative becomes active and the stack is played out.
